The ruins of Mödling Castle are located in the Föhrenberge Nature Park, approx. 1 km behind the fall of the mountains on the edge of the Vienna Basin.
Mödling Castle, also known as Mödling Castle Ruins, is the ruins of a hilltop castle above the Mödlingbach Valley and offers a beautiful view of the town of Mödling to the east and west up to the imposing Hussar Temple.
The Mödling castle ruins are one of the 8 towers on the themed hike "The towers of the Vienna Woods".
