High risk of forest fires – please take extra care
Warm temperatures, wind and a lack of rain are drying out our soil and vegetation – the risk of forest fires is currently very high. Often, even a small spark is enough to start a fire. Sparse woodland and open areas, where a fire can spread rapidly, are particularly at risk. To protect these valuable habitats, strict bans are currently in place: open fires, barbecues and smoking are prohibited in the forest and in all areas close to the forest.
Please help us to preserve our unique natural and cultural landscape. Please refrain from using any sources of fire and do not leave any smouldering objects behind in the countryside.
