Warning: not suitable for drinking
The numerous springs in the Föhrenberge Nature Park are valuable natural monuments and popular excursion destinations. They characterise the landscape and provide a habitat for many specialised animal and plant species.
Important notice: The springs in the nature park are not regularly tested for water quality. The spring water is therefore not designated as drinking water and should not be used for drinking or for filling water bottles. Regular testing is a prerequisite for water to be designated as drinking water.
We ask you to heed this advice for your own protection and to treat the springs with respect as valuable natural habitats.
